What has happened to Yellow Brick Books?
When this publishing house was founded back in 2016, it was named Yellow Brick Books and was primarily focused on funny, quirky picture books.
In 2020, when we released our first middle grade title, Aster's Good, Right Things, it was published under the new Riveted Press imprint, and went on to win the CBCA Book of the Year for Younger Readers in 2021 (and was short or long listed in various other awards).
As we moved further into the middle grade space, we made the decision to rebrand as Riveted Press. Yellow Brick Books now exists as an imprint for our younger titles only, although it will be gradually phased out.
